August 13, 2014, Helena, Montana — Gov. Steve Bullock and Lt. Gov. Angela McLean honored Helena Sand & Gravel with the WorkSafeMT Governor’s Safety Achievement Award today at SafetyFestMT in Havre. The award recognizes and celebrates Montana employers dedicated to safety excellence and leadership. It was presented by Lt. Gov. McLean and Robyn Morrison, executive director of WorkSafeMT, the organization dedicated to reducing workplace injuries, illnesses and deaths in Montana.

SafetyFestMT is a series of free, high-quality safety conferences offered each year throughout the state. Each event includes as many as 95 classes taught by leading instructors, and much of the training counts toward OSHA 10- and 30-hour certifications.
